Goodbye, Micha!

Phoenixes,

I know you haven’t heard from us for a while.

We are currently in the middle of songwriting and hope to be able to present you new songs soon.

Nevertheless, there is a lot to tell.

A little earlier this year, we re-recorded a few songs from „Winter Is Coming“ to present you with these songs the new line-up.

The first song from this will be released shortly.

But we look at this release with mixed feelings, because it is the first and unfortunately also the last recordings by our drummer In The Mist – Michael Wieczorek.

Unfortunately, Micha recently left us for personal reasons.

We are very grateful for the time we spent together and especially our short tour with Rage that we had with him. He drove us along with the right beats during the shows.

We wish Micha and his band Vintage Colour much success and look forward to seeing him in the audience at our shows soon.

But don’t worry, we have already found a very good replacement who will bring a lot of energy to the band. We will soon tell you who the new Master of Thunder will be.

Back in the creative zone

Phoenixes,

after our tour with Rage we haven’t been idle.

Right after the end of the tour we retreated into the creative zone.
The songwriting for our next album is in full swing. We’ve planned to release the album next year.
There are a lot of things planned for that.

But of course that’s not all.

There are still new songs planned for this year, which will again be produced by Oliver Palotai.
Oliver will also be the composer for one of the songs.

For another song we are very happy to be working again with our Duchess of Keys, Moran Magal.

So much for the upcoming things from Dying Phoenix.

We hope to be able to announce more concert dates soon and, above all, when we will release the songs.

Keep an eye on our social media, as soon as everything is clear, we will announce this news quickly.

First tour of the new Phoenix passed successfully

Phoenixes,

what should we say? It was an incredibly fantastic run. Three days with Tri State Corner and Rage went by incredibly quickly.

We had a very strong start in Dresden, where we were finally able to present the new line up live. But we were able to go even further in the following days in Krakow and Warsaw.

We are incredibly grateful for this great opportunity that we have been given.The fans in the cities gave us an incredibly warm welcome. In the end we were asked everywhere to return very soon.
We can promise you one thing: We will return as quickly as possible to celebrate with you again.

Now it’s time to get back home and take a deep breath. After that we actually go back to songwriting because ultimately we want to come back with new songs.

We will keep you up to date.
There’s already a lot planned for the next few months… just let yourself be surprised.

The final preparations have been completed

just a few more days and then it will finally start again.
Last week we successfully completed the final rehearsal and now it’s time to pack our luggage. We put together a great set and have a wonderful dynamic in the band.

You can look forward to an energetic show.
We really hope to meet you in person during the days and chat with you a bit after the shows. With Rage and Tri State Corner we also have a great package that is worth it for everyone.

We’ll see each other next week and hope we have a great time together.

Meet the Band! A new era begins

Dear phoenixes,

The cat is out of the bag. After we have repeatedly provided you with teasers of our new members via our social media over the last few weeks, it is now time to introduce you to the new line up.

Please welcome:
Lilith – lead vocals
Marie-Luisa Ehrlich – vocals, keyboards, piano
Florian Kunde – lead guitar, backing vocals
Marco Pragliola – lead guitar, backing vocals
Karen Alaverdyan – bass, backing vocals
Michael Wieczorek – drums

Pat St. James is pleased that he so quickly found a great line up of incredibly talented musicians who are really passionate about the band.

With these musicians, Dying Phoenix will now usher in a new era and enter a new phase.

We are already working on new songs, so you will be able to hear new music from us soon.

You can see us live for the first time in a few weeks when we accompany Rage on their anniversary tour.

DYING PHOENIX is now a 7-Piece Band

Hey phoenixes,

we have already announced it on our social media:
From now on there are seven of us.

There were so many applications from talented musicians and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who wanted to be part of DYING PHOENIX. That means the world to us.

The decision was hard… especially when it came to guitars.
Since the decision was particularly difficult here, we ultimately decided to continue with two lead guitars from now on.

This will obviously make the sound sound more massive and epic than you’re used to, but we think it’s for the better.

It also opens up a lot more options for new music.
We’re looking forward to surprising you with new music soon.

And of course we are currently preparing intensively for our little tour with Rage and Tri State Corner.

Get ready for a new era.

New Live Dates confirmed!

Dear phoenixes,

There have been rumors that something is happening with Dying Phoenix.

As the first news of the year we can say that the search is over.
We will soon reveal who the new Phoenixes are.

But for now we have other great news:
We will accompany part of the anniversary world tour of the mighty Rage.
We are happy to support this legendary band together with Tri-State Corner.
This is also the first opportunity to experience the new line-up live.
But it shouldn’t stay that way.

We are working on further dates together with our partners at Lucky Bob Music Agency.
We look forward to new touring opportunities and hope to see you at one of our next concerts.

New year, new goals

Happy New Year my dear phoenixes,

2023 ended turbulently, but with a lot of confidence.
We have received a lot of applications from incredibly talented musicians and are looking forward to introducing you to Dying Phoenix’s new line up soon.

We also have a lot planned this year.

Of course, we still want to perform live as often as possible in order to adequately present our album „Winter Is Coming“ to you. But of course we don’t want to rest on this album, so we can promise you that there will be new music from us this year.

We will also launch a media offensive. We will provide you with new updates from the band much better via social media, newsletters and our homepage.

In 2024, the Phoenix will rise from the ashes and soar to new heights with new energy and new creativity.

Dying Phoenix

DYING PHOENIX parted ways with its members

Dear Phoenixes,

an exciting year is coming to an end.
We experienced a lot, had great experiences and made new friends and fans. With our last concert in Nuremberg Dying Phoenix officially ended this phase of the band.

However, Dying Phoenix is a band that wants to constantly develop.
And this usually does not come without losses.

It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have to announce today that Dying Phoenix and its members Erica Bianca, Lea Ciara Czullay, Rhavin Grobert and Lucas Zacharias are going their separate ways with immediate effect.

Pat St. James will lead Dying Phoenix into a new future.

Pat thanks his colleagues for the time together and wishes them all the best for their future journey. 

Of course such a loss hurts, but where one door closes, another opens.

And so opportunities arise.
Because Dying Phoenix still has big plans. And so the band is reorganized.

And always remember: A phoenix dies in fire and rises from its own ashes.

We thank you for your support and hope that we can continue to count on you.

Last Concerts for this year

The KillerZ Fest is now a week behind us and we can only say one thing:

It was a blast!

At this point we would like to thank the promoters and our good friend Carlos Quilez who booked us there.

It was a great time with great bands and fantastic fans. We would like to thank all of our new fans for the passion, enthusiasm and love they have shown us.

But, after the concert is before the concert.
And that’s exactly why preparations are already underway for the coming weekender with our friends from Hel’s Throne. We will be visiting the south of Germany for the first time and hope to have great encounters and conversations with you there too.

However, these concerts will be the last concerts for this year. We are using the time to recharge our batteries so that we can be there for you again next year with fresh energy.
